Wheatstone MOF Facility

The Wheatstone LNG project at Ashburton North Strategic Industrial Area, near Onslow in Western Australia’s Pilbara region, is one of Australia’s largest resource schemes. The first phase of the onshore facility comprises two gas liquefaction and purification ‘trains’, with a capacity of 8.9Mt per year, and a domestic gas plant.

UTAH Point Expansion

Installation of dynamic replacement to strengthen muddy mangrove ground conditions

Location: Port Headland, WA

Client: Ertech Pty Ltd

The Utah Point Expansion Project at Port Hedland aimed to increase the iron ore stockyard’s capacity from 5.6Mt per year to 15Mt per year. Keller Ground Engineering (KGE) was brought in to treat the site’s soft clays, to provide sufficient support to the 17m high iron ore stockpiles.

East Rockingham Waste Water Treatment Plant

Successful completion of in situ compaction of the upper 2-4m of loose sand

Location: East Rockingham, WA

Client: TASK JV (Thiess & SKM)

Perth’s south west corridor is experiencing rapid population growth, driving the need for additional infrastructure. One of these schemes is a new waste water treatment plant at East Rockingham being built by TASK, a joint venture of Thiess and SKM. Keller Ground Engineering (KGE) was commissioned to carry out ground treatment across the site.
