The role
The piling leading hand role is a full-time position located in New South Wales. Reporting to the foreperson you will play a vital role in the successful execution of projects across Australia. In this role you will:
- Overseeing and managing the site team (labourers and operators) as well as subcontracted personnel
- Conduct daily pre-start meetings and toolboxes
- Oversee erection and assessment of plant to ensure safe use determination
- Ensure works are adequately planned and resourced in line with specifications
- Strong commitment to safety and quality
- Ability to work as part of a dynamic team
- Hold relevant qualifications and tickets
What you bring to the role
- Demonstrated experience in a similar role or have a goal to transition into a leading hand role in the future
- Experience within the piling / construction industry
- A strong commitment to safety to promote a zero-harm environment
- Strong communication, conflict resolution, and organisational skills
- Ability to build and maintain productive relationships with colleagues, clients, and subcontractors
