About the role

We are currently in search of an experienced Project Manager to join our QLD team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the safe, timely, and successful completion of projects according to schedule.

You will be responsible for

  • Ensure compliance with safety, construction, and technical project requirements.
  • Coordinate all project resources – people, plant, and equipment 
  • Oversee construction aspects to meet or exceed performance targets in terms of time and budget.
  • Raise Non-Conformance Reports and manage rectifications.
  • Managing contractors to ensure the project meets deadlines
  • Order and assess materials to ensure compliance with project-specific specifications and budget.
  • Exercise cost control and provide financial reporting.

Please note: this role may require some travel to regional / interstate locations and periods of time working away from home.

About you

To thrive in this role, you should be a team player, adaptable, and comfortable rolling up your sleeves to join our team on-site. To be considered, you'll need:

  • Tertiary qualifications in civil engineering, geotechnical engineering, or associated discipline.
  • A strong commitment to safety to achieve a zero-harm environment.
  • Great communication skills for liaising with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated management experience.
  • Have a sound understanding of geotechnical and foundation systems.
  • An understanding of commercial and contractual aspects of projects.
