About the role

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Graduate Accountant to join our Finance Team in our Sydney office based in Macquarie Park, NSW. This role is responsible for supporting a range of financial accounting functions across reporting, joint ventures, fixed assets, banking, and procurement. 

As part of a collaborative and high performing team, you will gain broad exposure across the business and contribute to accurate and timely reporting in line with Keller’s governance and compliance standards.

Key responsibilities

  • Assist in preparing monthly financial reports and dashboards

  • Support Joint Venture (JV) accounting including cost claim processing and reconciliations

  • Contribute to accounting functions for the precast manufacturing and plant teams

  • Assist in capital expenditure tracking, fixed asset processes, and stock takes

  • Prepare bank guarantee documentation and reconcile balances

  • Raise and monitor procurement requisitions for various departments

  • Assist with taxation reporting including BAS and FBT

  • Support compliance activities such as ABS reporting and system data accuracy

 

About you

  • Degree qualified in Accounting or Commerce

  • 1–2 years of experience in a commercial finance team or accounting public practice

  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills

  • Ability to take initiative while working collaboratively in a team environment

  • Effective communication skills with the ability to liaise with multiple stakeholders

  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and comfortable working with financial systems
